I stayed in the Fairfield Inn & Suites to fulfill a mileage promotion with Delta Airlines - a promotion that has yet to post to my account. We'll see if I have to fight for those miles.
The hotel was clean but next time I'll find another Marriott property. The location was also convenient - very easy access to I-540 and nearby food options. But that's about all I can say positive about the property.
- The rooms are tiny. I'm talking less than 300 sq ft. NYC's notoriously small hotel rooms are roomier.
- The bathroom sink was always clogged throughout my stay. Certainly housekeeping would notice this when they clean and report it to maintenance.
- The toilet seat was cheap and actually snapped off of the commode. That's not the only thing it snapped! :( Since it was my last night, I didn't bother with calling the front desk.
- The hallways were stifling hot as the A/C had been turned off in the common areas.
- Other then hard-boiled eggs, proteins on the breakfast bar were nonexistent. Hot items were limited to waffles and biscuits & gravy. The selection didn't change during my three days there.
All in all, there are better values in NW Arkansas at newer, better maintained properties.
