I have come to appreciate La Quinta's when I am on the road as the rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The staff also seems to be genuinely friendly and helpful. This location was no different and it has a fresh and new feeling. I was concerned about traffic noise as it is just off the freeway and I am a light sleeper, but I didn't hear anything.

There are several chain restaurants within walking distance but I chose to put a bottle of wine in the large in-room fridge and found a good deli (Jason' Deli) nearby in a mall area.

Like other La Quinta's, this hotel has a large breakfast room with a nice continental breakfast (coffee, juices, bagels, fruit, cereal, hard boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt).

We stayed here a couple nights ago. It was very clean & quiet. The room was spacious & the bed comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. It is close to many restaurants & the mall. We were just passing thru for the night so didn't take advantage of any of that. They had a free breakfast in the morning which was fine, nothing special, but had something for everyone. There was also an IHOP within walking distance.

We have stayed at this hotel on two previous occassions when we come to North Little Rock for Thanksgiving. It is clean and has friendly, helpful staff. However this is our last stay. It is not a safe place. The hotel is right next to McCain mall and every conseivble restaurant known to exist and numberous other hotels are all around. I went out to my crew cab truck around 9:00 on Thanksgiving day to find the front windshield shattered and the back electric slide window completely broken out. The intruder entered through the back window. Blood was in the cab and in the of the bed of the truck. We had left nothing in the car, so there was nothing to steal. The truck was parked in the hotel parking lot., We could not return to our home state until the windows were replaced. After filing a police report, we walked to the nearst breakfast place that morning. In conversation with our waitress her car windows had been broken out a few days earlier. Obviously the vandalism is local and no doubt will continue.

Everything was pretty standard low quality hotel-esque. I didn't expect a lot from it, but it didn't even meet expectations. The plumbing is awful and horribly loud, a toilet flush is like a jet engine. The room was slightly disheveled and well worn. Things were dirty and blah. The walls were super thin. The breakfast was okay and the room had a flat screen TV which was nice in addition to the free wifi. Overall, MAYBE an acceptable place for a quick one night stay on business but not somewhere for an extended stay.
