The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It is right next to the JR station.

The hotel itself looked tired. The carpets and elevators were old. My single room was small and old-fashioned, but clean.

I emailed the hotel a couple of times with some questions, and I received the response within 10 minutes!!! Their service was very impressive.

The hotel had its own bus to and from the Asashikawa zoo, which was a great service to the guests.

We booked on-line for two nights about nine months ago and the hotel wrote an email to confirm our reservation. The weather was poor when we arrived in Asahikawa area and thus we couldn't go on longer walks in Daisetsu National Park. We decided to cancel one of the two nights stay with the hotel upon our arrival and the hotel staff was kind to cancel a night. We had a semi-double bedroom which was large by Japanese standard. It has ensuite facility with bidet toilet. The hotel is right next to Asahikawa JR station and there are many restaurants and shopping centres a few minutes of walk away. Famous Ramen shops are also within walking distance from the hotel and we had a great Ramen dinner by following the directions shown in the map given by the hotel. Parking in the hotel is an extra 800 yen. We have to park the car in the multi-storey carpark next to the Esta shopping mall and then took a lift to 2nd floor to reach the hotel lobby. It will be cumbersome to go by the hotel entrance on the street level if you have big heavy luggages. It took us about 45 mins to drive to the Kurodake ropeway area of Daisetsu from the hotel. We didn't mind the distance because the proximity of the hotel to some of the famous eateries in Asahikawa and the room rate in Terminal Hotel is truly value for money.

we chose this hotel as base for our day trips to furano and biei area, before moving on to sapporo. hotel is adjacent to jr asahikawa station, there is an entrance right into the station without going out of the hotel and there is also another entrance to a shopping centre. we took a bus from asahikawa airport to asahikawa. the bus stop at a taxi station right outside jr asahikawa station and just a short walk to the hotel. across the hotel is a heiwa shopping street with shops, department stores (that closes at 7:30pm) and eating places. the bus stop to asahiyama zoo is also within walking distance. there is takayubin service at the front desk for bag deliveries. the front desk staff are great and attentive. room is clean, though furnitures have seen better days. there is a portable heater provided in room. an internet pc is provided at the lobby.

This hotel is located besides JR station, there is an entrance connected with JR station & hotel & ESTA department store. It is a convenient hotel with good service staff. The hotel is also near the shopping area.

Staff can speak fluent English and they are helpful.

For room, we chose Japanese style room for 3 people but didn't expect a good room view coz the floor for Japanese style rooms is lower which no room view can be seen. There is a large area for hallway that makes the sleeping area is a bit narrow. Anyway, the room size is still ok for us (3 tatamies + some area for 1 luggage & table).

There is free computer use in the lobby.
