“good stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2010

I stayed at the Hyatt Place in Rogers on a game weekend in order to visit family. The hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and out was quick. I missed the breakfast but the hotel is near several eateries. My room was clean and everything was in working order. The only problem that I had with the stay is the price was a bit much to be that far away from the stadium and still use game weekend pricing. What would be a $79-$99 room turned into $190 for one night.

“Best Trip in Recent times”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2010

We had a group booking at Hyatt Place while we visited Eureka Springs, AR. Few of friends had suggested this place after they stayed there. We were 18 families in total, and no one had a single Bad comment about the stay. The hospitality that we received and the cleanliness of each room was appreciated by all our group members. I believe that we'll never think of another place to stay if we go to Rogers, Eureka Springs or any nearby places.

“Acceptable.....but....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2010

This hotel has all the fit and finish of a Hyatt Place with some added "extras".

First off, the staff is great. Have always had excellent interactions, I stay here a lot and they remember my name and are always friendly. The location is good as well. It's no near nor far from that place most of us come to Bentonville to visit.

The hotel is clearly a remodeled former amerisuites and not a new build....the room is pretty nice overall, except the bathrooms which are a, well a tad small.

For the bad,

1) The shower drains are hit or miss, there is nothing like standing in a pool of water while you shower. I saw this in another review. I have had 7 or 8 rooms now in this hotel and it's hit or miss. No specific floor, side of hotel, etc. Some are great, others are horrible. I saw this in another review and yes, they are right.

2) The windows leak, this has only happened to me on the freeway side of the hotel last year. A severe storm came through and the the front 3 feet of the room had a nice puddle in my 4th floor room. When I called down this had happened in a number of rooms in the hotel and they couldn't move me until the morning. The lobby flooded the same night with a nice puddle to wake up to in the morning as I left.

I always stay at Hyatt's to keep my Diamond member status up, and this one is no different. It's by no means a horrible hotel, but the Hyatt name used to mean a lot more.

We had several million dollar renovation to our hotel in 2007. We only had a leak through windows once in this hotel and that is when 120mph winds came in with several tornadoes in the area. The rooms are all suites and the only difference in them is king or double beds. Some people are sensitive to noise and would prefer to not be near the highway side and we ALWAYS try to accommodate them. Especially anyone who is a Hyatt Gold Passport rewards member. If you stay at our hotel and have any issues, please let management know. Always willing to do whatever possible to make your stay the best it can be.

“Enjoyed our stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2010

We stayed here while visiting during Labor Day weekend to attend a Razorback football game and do a little sight seeing in the area. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was great. It is located right next to an IHOP if you prefer to bypass the hotel breakfast and there are numerous restaraunts nearby. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the U of A campus but we paid around $80 per night so we saved money by driving the few extra miles. It was very quite the couple of nights we were there even though it is right off the freeway. The only drawback was the light shining from outside the window. I'm sure they are there for security purposes but they made it difficult for my husband to sleep because the room wasn't dark enough for him. Overall it's a good hotel with friendly service and I would stay here again.
