This hotel has 3 stars on BING Travel’s site, but only 1 star on Priceline who we booked through. I'm taking the time to post this so others can absolutely avoid this place. We booked two rooms to stay in Pine Bluff for two nights to meet my daughter's future inlaws. I reserved two King rooms with sofa sleepers, but our rooms had only 1 king bed and the sofa sleeper was a CHAIR. When I returned to the desk to ask what happened, I was informed the online sites were "wrong to reserve the requested rooms for that price, and I would have to pay extra to secure the rooms I requested." Not wanting to cause a scene, I decided to switch our rooms to ones with two queen beds, send half of our party to the home of our future inlaws, and the rest of of stayed at the hotel. WHAT A DISASTER :-((((( The faucet in one room was broken and we had to wash our hands in the bathtub. The walls were filthy. The supposed Queen beds were actually doubles and hard as a rock. The next morning, a Sunday, I informed the one front desk person on duty that we could not spend the second night in those rooms and asked to be moved to the rooms I requested and paid for on Priceline. I was told the manager was not available on Sundays but I could move back to the rooms with one king bed and a chair. Meanwhile, in the "free breakfast dining area" there was food... dried up waffle batter and scrambled eggs on the floor. Every table was sticky and dirty. There was no breakfast meat, the juice was watered down, there was very little fruit (two bananas and 4 apples), and the milk was WARM. I called Priceline. After explaining the situation, they informed me they would call the front desk to secure a refund or ask the hotel to provide the rooms I'd paid for and for me to call Priceline back and ask for "Jimmy" in 30 minutes. I called back in 30 minutes. No one knew Jimmy. After explaining the situation all over again, they placed me on hold for 15 minutes to call the front desk. When the Priceline rep returned, she said I could not get a refund, and I could not get the rooms I reserved because it was a Sunday and the owner was not available. I asked for them to help me to secure rooms at another hotel. I was informed they could not. I told them I would contact them on my return to Texas and hung up. Finally, my husband had to go down to the desk to demand that we be moved to the rooms we requested on Priceline. The front desk clerk finally complied. The "luxury suites" we're two regular rooms with a huge arched opening between. No door...no privacy. There were no smoke detectors, only hanging wires where they had been. The rooms were somewhat cleaner, but by then we were leery of the whole place. The tv in one of the rooms did not work. The touchtone phone in the other room had no dial face. And the issue that made the this whole scene a complete FAILURE was the door to one of the rooms that WOULD NOT LOCK. What more can I say? There are other hotels in this area near the mall....good luck to you who must visit this area.
