This review is for the Comfort Inn on Pritchard at I40 in Little Rock, AR.

When I first entered our room, everything looked ok but I quickly noticed a musty smell. Didn't think it would be problem that couldn't be corrected. Soon found out why - stationary windows do not open and bathrooms have no vent. No ventilation!!!! Not good!!! Desk receptionist confirmed this as a common complaint and that all the rooms lack ventilation. Later was further disappointed to find that the tv was burned out and had the 'green screen' ! Worst Comfort Inn I have ever stayed at.

The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room and bath were clean. Had a better continental breakfast than others.

Hotel did not meet standards expected from a Choice Hotel. When I checked in the staff was not friendly at all. She acted as if it was a bother to get up out of the chair and check us in. She looked as if she was mad. When we got to the room it look like house keeping was not a high priority. There was dust along the wall, the corners in the bath were dirty, there was an empty shampoo bottle sitting on the top edge of the shower enclosure. If the bath had been cleaned properly the empty bottle should have been found and removed. The faucet end of the tub had sunk about 1/2 inch and it looked like dirt and mold was building up in the crack between the tub and shower enclosure. There were grease spots on the sofa. We stayed the night but will not stop at this hotel in the future. Choice Hotels responce was this is a franchise and they will send the complaint on. I thought franchises were required to maintain a certain level of standards but apparently that is not a requirement with this chain.

The kindness of the staff extended to Gustav refugees was
marvelous. Sandy, the manager, is a gem. She had her staff keep the rooms clean and tidy, supplied endless quantities of biscuits and gravy as well as good humor. I recommend this place. It's one of the best.
