Messed up and went with a hotwire 2 star, maybe -2 star. Trying to save a buck, I cant believe I spent $60 on this place!!!!! The room really stinks like old mold. The pool is half full. Carpet dirty. The ONLY good thing bout this place is free wifi with a strong signal.

This hotel needs to be torn down. Even though hotel front desk staff was extremely nice, the hotel was in horrible shape. There was white powder on the floor behind nightstad - assuming Boric Acid for roaches??? The door to the bathroom was falling out cause the door frame can't hold the door hinge. No Kleenex, had to also ask for toilet paper cause they had only a 1/4 of ONE roll when I got there. Coffee Maker, but no coffee unless you asked for it. My friend who also stayed at the hotel had still soap in his room with hair on it. Comforter had cigarrett burn marks all over it. Wireless internet only worked once in a while - at least they had it though. Elevator was not working all THREE days I was there (this is a 3 story m/hotel). Very unkept outside and someone scraped paint off the railing and just left it there. This is giving Travelodge a VERY bad reputation as a CHAIN HOTEL - I know I will NOT be staying at a TRAVELODGE anymore unless I can see the hotel and rooms before I make a committment of staying there. Sorry, VERY dissappointed.

Well other reviews are sometimes helpful but sometimes not. Given this fact I booked this hotel during a period were all the reviews were negative. At the end I can say that I did good! The hotel is 3 miles from downtown. I walked day and night and had no problem. Even though I booked the king room I got the suite with jacuzzi inside without paying extra. Room was ok but not perfectly clean though. But again for $36 it was fine. No soundproof so expect some noise from the upper floor. Avoid first floor. Breakfast was fine. Good coffee plus a waffle maker. Rooms have fridge. My impression was that this hotel is more like an apartment complex rather than a hotel.

Stayed there for a couple of days, on my last day I found a pair of worn womans panties in the bed, hookers go by the rooms on the weekends offering thier services. I would not stay there with a family.
