This was my first and probably last stay in a Fairfield. We stayed one night in this hotel. The lobby area (one's first impression of a hotel) is cramped and un-welcoming. The associate at the front desk was not friendly and really didn't give me any eye contact.

I'm in a wheelchair and requested an accessible room with a roll-in shower. The only room they had to meet this need was a room with a King bed. Although there were three in my group, I "knew" based on past experience at other hotel chains that King rooms usually afforded more room for my chair and to have a cot for the third person. Here at this hotel, there was absolutely no room for a cot.

The breakfast was ok. The cleanliness of the room and public areas was ok.

Not a good effort here, too bad. We come to expect a particular level of service and product from Marriott and then will have a different standard from their other properties. This Fairfield was unfortunately a disappointment. From the initial Front Desk welcome to the breakfast on the next morning, it just never got anywhere. The lack of energy with the front desk, then our breakfast the next morning, when the Supervisor was conducting an inspection with the Manager and ruined our morning breakfast with his loud stories on poor experiences with Food Service. He was rude and unaware of his other paying customers and even after we mentioned this to the front desk, the experience was disappointing. The room was adequate and breakfast was o.k..

Had great hopes that as a Marriott, this would be fine. Checked in and was told some of the services were out due to a storm the Friday before we arrived (I believe we got there on a Sunday). We were then told, our room was fine, so problems. Well, our tv didn't work, and we were moved to another room. That tv didn't work. Pool had too much chlorine, no adjustments made to bill.
I thought that's why we made reservations and left email addresses so the hotel could contact US if there was a problem...

The hotel is average and ok if you are just spending one night while you are on the road. Ask for a room facing away from the highway because you can hear the traffic and a train that runs by all night.
