My husband and I took our 3 young grandchildren to Murfreesboro to dig for diamonds. We stayed at the American Heritage Inn. Our room was very clean with good beds and lots of hot water for showers. A nice quiet place. Great pool. Very nice people!! We loved it.

We got 2 rooms, one for my husband, me and our Chihuahua and another for Mom. The rooms were very clean. Our Chihuahua was welcome as were several other well behaved dogs. The recommendations made by the office staff for food and supplies were just what we needed. We will stay here again on visits to the Diamond Crater. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice and clean. This stay brought back memories of travelling with our parents since the style of the motel is about the 1950's.

You don't have many choices in Murfreesboro so out of the few u do this is your best bet we stayed two nights here the motel is reasonable priced. The pool was very clean and the water was just the right temperature. The air conditioner worked good, the beds were fine, the mini fridge and microwave in the room was nice to have and kept clean. The bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water for your showers close to a good eating place and not far from crater of diamond state park. I also priced Queen of Diamonds Inn and they were double the price of American Heritage Inn and didn't really look much better to me. We plan on making a trip back soon and there is no doubt about it we will be staying at American Heritage Inn.

We chose this hotel after reading comments from the website and was satisfied with our stay here. It is an older property, but they have worked to keep it clean and nice. Our room had new paint and I didnt see any mildew. The fridge was clean and there was a clean microwave - no hairdryer. The pool was clean and the temperature of it was nice for people who cannot tolerate cold. Speaking of cold the AC worked great. Momma Ruths is right across the street and had good home cooking. The Diamond mines are about a mile away. Downtown square has antique shops and other places to eat.
