We usually stay at a Hilton - Hampton Inn & Suites are generally our choice for cleanliness & comfort. They are usually priced over local hotels, but we've been able to count on them. We chose this hotel for lack of a Hilton.
We got the suite with a refrigerator & microwave - it was extremely large. At the AAA rate, it was a good deal compared to larger cities like St. Louis and Phoenix.
We were pleasantly surprised. It was everything we look for --clean, comfortable, pleasant staff, free internet, free parking, good breakfast, laundry facility, & a fitness room (small, but adequate). They had an outdoor pool and spa - we didn't use them, but the water looked clean and they had sun most of the day for the sun worshippers.
We stayed on the third (top) floor in a non-smoking room (another review said these were all smoking - not so at this time). Couldn't hear noise from other rooms or the hall.
Another review mentioned poor internet - we didn't have that experience. Not as fast as at home, but nothing that made us want to pull out our hair.
The breakfast featured a couple hot items each day along with their "as advertised" cinnamon rolls (my boyfriend couldn't get enough of them). The cheese blintze and bacon were good - cooked just right for me.
We tried a Holiday Inn Express & Suites in the next town (Hot Springs, AR) we stayed in and were sadly disappointed. We did a review on that one also.
