Stayed 2 nights due to attending a graduation. The manager,, Chet was super nice and helpful, always cordial. Had a minor problem with our frig and he took care of it right away. Seeinig that his guests were taken care of was an obvious characteristic of his. The other gentleman on the night shift (I think his name was Alberto) was also very pleasant. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. Defintely recommend this to any travelers going though the Maumelle area.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and The Hotel is Clean Clean Clean and Quiet great location and the Staff exceptional. Dont let the star rating fool you. Much more than a 1 star 3 star Quality and Service.

I would like to say how friendly and helpfull the young man at the front desk was. I left an article in my room and he called me the next day to tell me and then he mailed it back to me. It was a great feeling to receive this type of service from someone who I had only met at check in. That is a sign of great service. Thank you.

Tripadvisor and ChoiceHotels.com indicate that the hotel is in North Little Rock, which is right across the Arkansas River from our seminar in Little Rock: it is 15 miles north in Maumelle. Based on staff stories of backed up traffic on the interstate we departed early both days of the seminar and arrived way too early: apparently the locals have a different concept of traffic than we LA commuters: Midweek commute times were 15 minutes at 6:30am and 30 minutes at 7:30.
Our room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We happened to get a room next to where they park refrigerated big rigs whose refrigeration units cycled on and off thru the night, but our room cooling fan mostly drowned out all noise and we slept well. If sensitive to noise, chose a room on the side opposite that parking lot.
The nearby eating places are marginal. For breakfast though, there is a MacDonalds and Waffle house within 150 yards. The inhouse free breakfast foods are typically spartan.
Based on reviews of hotels and neighborhoods in and around Little Rock, we think this hotel is a good choice at $50.99 through the AARP program at ChoiceHotels.com.
