“Great hotel for a great price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2011

My family and I stayed here while passing through. I had read the reviews online and am pleased to say that I agree. The hotel was clean, safe and in a great location for our trip. For the price and amenities, it really can't be beat. We travel through this area on our way to visit family and will be sure to stop again. The kids want me to mention that McDonald's was right next door and the pool was small, but great! :)

“We had a wonderful stay.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2011

We were on our way back from a trip out west and were looking for a reasonably priced room for one night. This Super 8 was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for anyone passing through the Little Rock area.

“Another nice Super 8”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2011

I made a mid-week stop here on the way from Texas to Kentucky and found it a good stop between Dallas and Nashville. I was greeted by a very friendly young man at the front desk and checked in quickly. Close and easy access to the highway, but very quiet inside. The room was large, nicely decorated, and very clean. The bathroom was also large and clean. No frig or microwave in the room, but didn't need them for an overnight stay. There is an indoor pool that was well used. There is a McDonalds across the street and a nice Mexican restraurant [El Toritos] within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. TV was older, but worked well and had reasonable number of channels. Internet was free and fast. Breakfast was very good, with scrambled egg patties, sausage, muffins, english muffins, bagels, cereal. One note- the hotel does not appear to have an elevator, just stairways at the end of the hallways,. I would definately stay here again

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms are always quieter.

Thank you and appreciated your very nice comments and we are glad you like our hospitality. We are in the process of making ALL our rooms with microwave and refrigerator. Elevator is a challenge and we are looking into options. Again, thank you for your nice comments and give us an opportunity to serve you again.

“Pleasantly surprised”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 June 2011

I normally don't stay at Super 8's. I've stayed at one before and was quite pleased. I was very pleased with this Super 8. We usually stay at the Holiday Inn in Lonoke on our way from Tennessee to Oklahoma after vising family.
We actually got the last available room which was a smoking while we are non smoking. The desk clerk was great. He brought us right up a can of Febreeze which really got rid of the odor.
The room had a king bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was comfortable for the person that slept there. The king bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in.

I don't usually eat the breakfasts that are provided at the hotels as they don't have much I like. This one was different they actually had eggs.
The one thing I didn't like was on the bed there was a sheet with just a thin blanket as a cover. I like to burrow under the covers but I just couldn't do that with one thin blanket.

Other then that issue this is a great hotel for the price.

I like to thank you for choosing us over Holiday Inn Express. I am also pleased that you like our hotel and best of all it has cost you much less. On one concern over blankets, the bed type is called triple sheeting, where there is 3 sheets and one blanket and a throw at the end of the bed. Newer hotels are going into that direction of Triple sheeting and so we also did it that way. But, if any guest would like more comfy bed and need more blankets, you could ask guest associate on duty and we would be glad to provide you with extra blankets.

“The Booked Room that NEVER got Booked”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 May 2011

My son and husband travelled to the Super 8 after I booked their room 2 weeks prior for a Regional Trap Shoot at Remington. When I booked I spoke to Laurie, the manager. Lonoke was having a flooding issue that day, so she took my information as well as my debit card info and assured me the room was available and booked. Today my husband and son arrived to find that they did not have a room. The Days Inn had 1 room left for twice the price ($118) and my husband had no choice but to take it. When I called, Blane (employee at Super 8) said he would call Laurie...I waited 5 minutes and called back...they were absolutely NO HELP, Laurie simply told him to apologize...a lot of good that does me! We will be in Lonoke often, I can assure you WE WILL NOT STAY AT TEH SUPER 8...nor will the other members (150 members) of our trap team when I get the chance to tell them what happened.

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience you suffered. My front desk manager Laurie Geater was the one who took your reservation and somehow got erased from the system. It is either our systems fault or our personnal but we took full responsibility for it. I personally booked 2 FREE nights for you on your next stay on 14 & 15 June and you stayed and were happy. You have also made future reservations at our hotel so we are glad you are happy. Yes, we are humans and we make mistake but, we take full responsibility for it and we took care of you, our guest.
