We stayed in Hotel Tropix for 3 weeks and we had a great time! We didn't look for an expensive all-inclusive hotel, we wanted a down-to-earth stay, where you could get in touch with the local mentality and lifestyle. All this we found in Hotel Tropix.
Even more it's clean, the sheets and towels had been changed every day, except for sunday (which we liked, because you realize, that life comes before work in this country).
It's location is just perfect. Within a 2 to 3 minutes walk you can reach the main road of sosua, where most of the shops etc are.

If you're not very demandig and on low budget, this is just the perfect place fo your holidays. We even got a discount for staying for 3 weeks!

We looked forward to returning to this hotel where we again felt at home. The rooms are nice, the pool area comfortable and the beautiful gardens. We did miss Carl though, I hope he returns!

I spent the month of February at Tropix and can't wait to visit again. From the beautiful garden to the lovely cottage made my stay picture perfect. 5 minute walk from the maddening crowds of Sosua, the beach and easy public transportation to any destination in the country, it was my solace. The staff was charming, helpful and always offering a smile.
Breakfast was made to order, beer and water aplenty and a tranquil setting that brings back fond memories I will cherish forever.

We stayed for 10 days at the Tropix and are planning to get back there as soon as possible.

The staff were fabulous and very helpful - I'm really fussy and they made my breakfast - just the way I wanted it - (I don't speak Spanish so the manage translated in detail. When I really didn't feel like going out for lunch the cleaner made me a lunch!!!

It is very reasonably priced and cheap in terms of the service. We stayed at three other hotel in the DR and they were horrible in comparison.

Tropix spoilt us for other hotels. What ever we wanted to know about they either found out for us or made it easy for us to get the information.

There is a lovely friendly family atmosphere where the other guests introduced themselves and we hung out and made lots of new friends.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough

A haven of peace away from the dirt and bustle of town.
