This "hotel" is the worst were I have ever stayed. Juan Dolio is really a "past glory" area in the DR. Most of the buildings are unfinished and the constructions are abandoned. The hotel has no parking, the grounds are dirty, the lobby is filthy, the rooms are dirty and poorly maintained, the bathrooms are the worst. One of the buildings is really old, two of the other building seems to be "recently" renovated but the furniture was left. There are cockroaches everywhere and the smell of the rooms are intolerable.
I looked at 4 rooms before taking a room at the "new" area, but couldn't tolerate more than one night.
The smell of the kitchen is all over the hotel, there are hanging clothes everywhere, the pool looked clean and well kept. But this is very far from a resort, even from a hotel,is more of a apartahotel. There were no towels, soap or any amenities. The air conditioner did not function and it was extremely dirty. The fan were completely loaded with dust.
I booked 3 rooms and only one was acceptable for just one night.
I changed hotel the next day and moved to Santo Domingo.
Don't be fooled by the cheap price, it is not worth it.
