We only had a one night stop in Chetumal to break a longer journey, so after a pretty exhausting bus ride on New Year's Day we didn't want to venture far from the bus stop and there wasn't much available. However this was an excellent choice with clean and spacious rooms, although they looked out onto an internal area so were a bit dark. Upstairs would have been better but there were none available. It turned out we had to go to a different bus terminal the next day, but it was walking distance. Nothing was open this day so it's pretty hard to judge what sort of place it it!! But the hotel was good.
