Booked by my girlfriend who goes to Tunisia every year for the last 26 years, we decided to try 4 days on an All Inclusive basis. We normally go to quiet, small and peaceful Caribbean resorts but my husband and i needed a quick break away and to meet up with my other 6 English friends. We were in fact the ONLY English in the hotel! the rest was German, Dutch, some Chinese, some Russian. The Hotel was large, the accommodation was either in the main hotel or in bungalows scattered around the complex. We had a bungalow which had one bedroom, a shower/toilet/washbasin, a kitchenette and fridge and air conditioned. This was cleaned daily and beds made every morning and clean towels daily. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and very proud of their hotel. The food was excellent, with buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There were lots and lots of choices at each session. It would be impossible to manage everything! the local wine was good too! They had evening entertainment which was enjoyable at times, but they do a big show once a week, which apparently leaves London behind!!! Most of the guests return and return to this hotel and we can understand why. The beach however, was small. The beach has been eroded away by the building of a jetty in the far distance causing the tide to shift, hence the once long and very wide beach, is now long and very narrow!!! Beach snack bar did excellent Pizza and chips, if you didnt fancy your all inclusive lunch! There was a hotel supermarket, that sold everything if you wanted to go self catering.
Overall, a great and affordable place to stay, with guaranteed sunshine and good food and ambiance. We cant wait to go again next year and become one of the many guests that return year after year after year.
