We stayed in suite 1 for three nights and had the benefit of a kitchen, a living room, an upstairs bedroom with a large balcony where we could sit enjoying a fantastic view of the ocean. Early morning walks on a beach before a swim in the waves and a wonderful breakfast were a good start of the day. Everything was to our satisfaction, clean rooms, hospitable and helpful staff. Our only disappointment was the the channel on TV where we were promised BBCWorld had become a Chinese channel!

We stayed at African Oceans for two nights only in December. It was nice to be booked into a place with beautiful views, friendly staff, good food and that resulted into value for money. I will return again.

Have just returned from South Africa and we were lucky enough to stay at African Oceans on our travels. We stayed in Rooms 7 and 8 which were both beautiful with a shared balcony and amazing views. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff very friendly and welcoming. We had free taxis to and from the restaurant in the evening thanks to Lene for sorting this. My husband unfortunately needed to see a doctor whilst here and an appointment was sorted for him within an hour (thanks again) Our only disappointment was we only had one nights stay. Would recommend to anyone.

My family and I recently spent 1 night at African Oceans. As self-catering B&B's go, they are definitely at the top of the pile, with friendly staff and a location right on the beach. The facilities were clean and well cared for and our two-bedroom suite was spacious and perfect for 3 adults traveling together.

The place itself is located in two converted (very nice) houses in a residential area so if you're looking for a hotel with nearby restaurants and lots of service, this probably isn't the place for you. But, all in all, a great place to stay on the beach of Mossel Bay that I would recommend to others.
