We stayed here only one night, but the place is beautiful, with lovely gardens and a pool in the shape of Africa. As we entered the hotel there was a welcome band, we were offered mint tea, and we felt very welcome. The staff was very helpful and could not do enough for us. Our suite was very comfortable and clean, decorated with Moroccan art, with air conditioning and all amenities. The buffet dinner was outstanding.

I just got home from a tour of Morocco provided by Insight Tours. We stayed at this hotel for only one night, wish it could have been longer. We were met at the entrance by a welcome band. They were very enthusiastic. In the lovely lobby we were treated to a "Blue Man" serving tea and sitting for photos. The musicians walked around the grounds treating the guests to music for a while as well.

The hotel grounds are so beautiful. Loved the pool area. It was so pleasant to sit out there for a little while. We took photos of a camel out by the pool. We did tip both the tea server and the camel driver for letting us take the photos. Tourists always complain about how the locals want to be paid to be photographed, come on people, you like to paid for your work too! The locals don't just dress up in costume and hang around waiting to be in your photos - they are working.

The room was clean and a nice size. The shower was really comfortable. They have a hair dryer which was helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel as a part of our package. The food was presented beautifully and was my favorite of the whole trip.

From this hotel, we took an excursion out into the desert to see the sunset over the Sahara. This turned out to be my favorite experience of the entire trip. Go do this if you can!

Everything about Kasbah Hotel Chergui was outstanding - the warm and friendly reception made us feel very welcome and we realised immediately that this was something special. We were upgraded to a magnificent suite which was the best hotel accommodation we have ever experienced - spacious, luxuriant, exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It surpassed everything we had read on Tripadvisor and our thanks go to the manager, Hafid Bel Madani, for such a memorable visit. We only wish the stay had been much, much longer to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and friendly ambience.

One word. Amazing.

Great architecture, great and warm welcome - with vuvuzela and everything. Room was fantastic. I agree with one reviewer that this was a great surprise. Too bad I stayed only for one night.

As my fellow tourmate said, "I would stay longer in a heartbeat."
