We came with a group and got a very warm welcome with musicians, hot tea and cookies. And once we entered the place, our jaws dropped. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the layout around the pool is well-considered and lends itself to a very tranquil atmosphere, and the food was great. The hotel is about 25 minutes away from the dunes of the Sahara and they can hook you up with drivers to take you out there. There's also an on-site spa, but I heard it wasn't so impressive. If you're looking for one or two days of decompression, this is the perfect hotel to just relax at. Big comfy leather sofas in the lobby, spacious bathrooms, little tents around the property to relax in, and a lovely pool at the center of the complex. Also, ask to see Kibit the hotel's very cute camel (he likes hard candies very much). As far a I saw it, there was no downsides to the place, at all. Just one thing to be aware of - their giftshop is very pricey and you'll see all that same stuff in Marrakesh, so a recommendation to hold out on purchasing anything there...
