The staff at Lindsey's Resort were all very friendly and helpful, and everything was just in perfect condition. The fishing wan't too bad either!!!

Mine and my wife's stay at Lindsey's was wonderful. The staff there were warm and welcoming. We instantly were made to feel as if we where a part of the family. We took a guided fly fishing trip with Chris Vanwinkle from Lindsey's. To look at him he might would seem a little rough around the edges, but trust me when I say that he is made of gold. Not only does he know the river like the back of his hand, he knows it. His confidence is reassuring and also very productive. I caught more fish on fly than ever before. He wouldn't even tell me the name the fly, but I plan on booking with him again in Nov. for the Brown trout spawn. Maybe I can get him to tell me then. You won't regret it if you stay at Lindsey's

Folks coming to Lindsey's for the first time expecting a five-star Ritz-Carlton with room/maid service, wifi and a gourmet restaurant will be disappointed.

But....if your goal is a relaxing weekend or week, in a rustic, comfortable, clean, modern cabin, and to fish in one of America's premier trout fishing rivers, you'll leave smiling.

Owned and operated by three generations of Lindsey's for over 40 years, you are greeted like an old friend and made to fell welcome.

Even if you don't fish and just want to lounge around the pool or cook out on the many grills scattered around the resort, or sit and watch the cold, clear waters of The Little Red, you'll like Lindsey's.

But it's the fishing that attracts most folks. The Brown trout world record is currently owned by The Little Red River at something over 40 lbs and daily limits of rainbow's are easily caught. And the restaurant will even cook them for you.

We've been going for many years and always leave smiling.

Having stayed at LIndseys Resort many many times over the last twenty years it wasn't a hard decision to make this year when faced with finding a vacation spot that would entertain our entire family. Locating a place that would accomodate a variety of interests and tastes... and with a group that included many ages ranging from young children to teenagers to young couples and a few of us "baby boomers"... was easy to do when choosing this lovely resort. We found the cabin large and spacious and a well equipped kitchen was an added bonus. Enjoyed the pool a lot too. The cabin was clean and had a lovely porch on it that served us well as a family who enjoys being outside in the evenings. The fishing guides took a lot of time with the little ones and accomodated the true fishermen in our group as well. The restaurant proved to be a great place for a wonderful steak and a relaxing place to gather at the end of the day. The photos on the walls of the restaurant boast a lot of history that documented visits from former presidents, governors and many many folks from around the country ...those photos were just added proof to our group that we were in great company when choosing to stay at Lindseys Resort.. Can't wait to plan our next trip there soon!!
