My husband and I go to Hardy once a year. It is only a two hour drive, but we enjoy changing our four wall occassionally.
The Days Inn in Hardy is in a great location, easily found, close to the antiquing and restaraunts. Rooms have always been clean, if a little noisy with other visitors coming and going. The continental breakfast always runs out...but we are late risers. The jacuzzis are a little outdated, but much welcome after a day on your feet going from shop to shop, or fishing. Decent value with lots of convience.

“Awful place to stay”

Lobby clerk was very rude, coffee cups in room were dirty, ceiling was peeling, Internet was down, ashes in non-smoking room heating vent. Dirty in general. When we mentioned this in the moring, the only response was a glare from housekeeping staff. Shortened our stay by 2 days. Should have checked out after we saw the room! Stay away from this hotel. Name brand apparently is worthless.

“Friendly, good value.”

Stayed one night; it is a typical motel, but the staff was very friendly. I stayed in the jacuzzi king non-smoking room for $65 (I think it was supposed to be $85, but it was the only no-smo left). The room was very large and had a mini fridge, microwave, little sofa, table and chairs. Hardy is a cute little town with lots of antique stores.

“Nice Basic Motel”

This is a pretty basic motel, but is neatly kept and pretty close to the antique shops of Hardy. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Tere is an outdoor pool. By far the nicest motel in Hardy.
