I visited this hotel in the anual Cardiology reunion, have a nice room, the service is good. The only problem, don´t have a beach. If you go to the beach close to the hotel is very ugly.

Spent a weekend at the Dynasty Hotel. The housekeeping is good. The rooms are comfortable. Hospitality Staff especially in the Restaurants are pleasant and helpful. However, more attention should be given to teenagers where the Menu's are concerned. The food is fresh, not very appetising and there should be more variety. The Hotel is clean.

Beach is 100m from hotel and it's very bad.
Fortunately, taxi is cheap $5-15 and you can inviestigate beaches on the whole island.

Hotel pool is good.

Food in hotel is very good (althogh US-citizens will probably not like it, but it is delicious and there is pleanty...)
Diner for a week is $44, breakfast is $22.
Try Pizza Di Marre in pool restaurant.
It does not make sense to go All-inclusive.

Food on the whole island is very good (for non-US tourists).
Waiter will bring paltter with fish to beach for you to choose what do you want for lunch.

Pillows in our room were demp and smelly.
People in hotel tipicaly speek very limited English.
Hotel is more focused on selling rooms for time-sharing ($170 000).

Most toursts from Latin America.

Island is very good.
Lot of good beaches. Lot of attractions (woter-park, joungle, jeep tours, air-plane tours, fortresses...).
No crime.
Good shopping areas - Sambil (mall) and Porlamar (city).
The areas is duty-free zone (clothing, jewlery, watches, alkohol, tobaco...).

Offical excehange rate is $1 = 1900 Bolivars. Unofficialy, 2100, 2300, 2400...

Service is OK. People are freiendly, but most of them do not speek English.

Stayed here in Feb. 2004. Nice place within walking distance to some restaurants. Cab fare's cheap to the shopping mall. Nice pool. Friendly workers. Pay your bills in Bolivares/Venezuelan currency if possible & save LOTS of money!!
