What a wonderful NYE party! Our room had a balcony, mini fridge, microwave, etc. The king sized bed and oversized shower was FANTASTIC! Waking up to that view would never get old! Wish we could get the family to have a reunion up there!

We recently stayed at Whitney Mountain Lodge quite unexpectedly as we were looking at houses in the area and ended up spending more time looking than we had planned. We knew about the lodge and asked about it at the local Short Stop Cafe.
My husband surprised me by getting us a room with a balcony and WOW what a view!!!! Beaver Lake and mountains as far as you could see! It was beautiful!!!! The room was spotless, comfortable and the "owner" catered to our every need. The continental breakfast was fantastic and left nothing to be desired. We will be back for sure and would recommend it to anyone wanting to "get away from it all" One thing though, if you come, plan on relaxing....8-)

This is a wonderful place to stay and has a beautiful view over looking Beaver Lake. The bed was so comfortable. The lodge was very clean and we were given a continental breakfast each morning. If you are looking for a perfect getaway place this is it. The trees were turning which made the view stunning!!! We plan on telling all our friend about this lodge and we will return again.

We got married here May 14, 2011 and everything went smoothly thanks to the great team, including Luther Black himself who made sure everyone was well taken care of. Luther has so improved this place that our whole wedding party vowed to return as soon as possible. The rooms were extremely comfortable and everyone in our party had a great lakeview with a balcony. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They made what is usually a stressful day into one to truly relish...This is NOT the same hotel from years ago. If you tried it years ago and were not impressed, you owe it to yourself to give it another try.
