From the welcome with flower garlands at the airport to the friendly goodbye, we loved our stay at Ana Rapu. It is set in relaxing gardens, with lots of outdoor space and regular BBQs. There is a large common indoor area, a staff kitchen and a separate guest kitchen. I found the rooms to be clean and tidy. Guests cleaned up after themselves in the guest kitchen. We stayed there for one week in jan/2010. They don't clean your room and if you want to, they give you just a brush to clean it. The room had only three beds and chest of drawers. There wasn't even a hook to put your towel. The breakfast is the same everyday (pancakes and a "hard" bread with coffee and tea). After 3 days it is hard to swallow it. The price was OK for the standard of the island. But we made our reservation 10 months in advance and the price was agreed back then. Just before our trip, the price changed and it was about 20% higher. We didn't want to argue and in the end we paid this price. I would not recommend this hotel. We saw some other places on the island where it seems to be better. By better I mean cleaner and friendly and they don't see the tourist just as a $. I would avoid this hotel...
