“A warm welcome!”

Andrew and Theresa gave us a very warm welcome after the long journey we had. The room was comfortable, large, clean and very homely. Everything you could need from tea, coffee and water to books and DVD's. After a perfect nights sleep an excellent breakfast followed. A delightful fruit platter, tea, juice, toast, a cooked meal and especially tasty Welsh cakes with outstanding home made jam. An excellent find and we can't wait to return!

“The best during our 10 days”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We spent 3 nights at Morowel. Breakfast with the fruit plate was fantastic, room large and rather luxurious in B&B standards, and service more helpful than you could imagine. Andrew offered us his vast knowledge of the town and the surrounding countryside, and even offered to take us to places. Andrew is a sophisticated British gentleman (resembling Michael Caine a bit) and his wife Theresa every bit as charming and helpful, too. They can also arrange a hotel-to-hotel service for you baggage. If you ever plan to say in Fishguard, do contact them.

“Hospitality Exceptionale!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2011

Andrew and Theresa were very friendly and welcoming. They even lit the log fire especially. Rooms were very clean, with plenty of tea and coffee included. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Loved the fruit plate! Andrews Welsh Cakes are delicious, as is his jam. Parking is a bit tight, but it's on a quiet road, so no real problem. The harbour is beautiful and peaceful, so all in all a good place to stay.

“Ruby Anniversary Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

We found the rooms warm and comfortable, the breakfast exceptional. Other high points were the warm welcome, the comfortable lounge with log fire and the informative advice provided by our host. Altogether a wonderful stay.

“Disappointed - did notive up to expectation.”

Room ok but cold. No heating or double glazing. Also, despite advising of gluten allergy on booking, calling as reminder as requested two days before arriving, and again on arrival, only gluten free items available for breakfast had to be 'borrowed from next door'.
Very disappointed!

It is August, the central heating is on, the radiators are set to zero, if you are cold then why not rurn the radiator on?

Gluten free diet, most people with such requirements bring a suitable choice with them, we have one of the most exciting breakfasts in Pembrokeshire, do we really have to have two slices of gluten free bread? We have oat cakes, we have Ryvita, do we need gluten free bread? Even our local bakery can not gaurantee it's gluten free bread to be gluten free.

Not every one in the world has double glazing but the room in question does have a fantastic view over our garden and the river Gwaun beyond.

We offer a budget 4* B&B for travellers and are seriously saddend by such a review.
