Stayed here for one night. Very friendly helpful staff. Good evening meals. Plenty of parking space. Comfortable room. Would return here again. Recommended. Old world style bar area and having a drink here was pleasant. Did not use the gym area or pool so can't comment on these.

I had my weddng here on thursday 27th october and it was fantastic.... jonathan did a brilliant job in taking care of my self my husband and all of our guests. he did everything in which he could to accomadate everyone and any problems he resolved straightaway !.... i would recommend the hotel to everyone for a wedding, or even just a short break

the food was fantastic and the portion sizes were more then enough

the room was stunning and the heating automatically came on as you entered the room the room didnt get to hot either it was just perfect

all of the staff were brilliant and well trained. i look forward to my visit in feb :D

We got married and held our reception here last weekend and had a wonderful day. Our 36 guests agreed it was the best wedding they had been to, the food was gorgeous and the staff friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxing and the grounds beautiful for photographs and the building is magnificent. We fully intend to restay for every anniversary.

Considering this property was built in the sixteenth century and fell victim to a major fire in 1984 this hotel continues to make its presence felt. The setting, in its own large grounds, naturally lends itself to wedddings and functions, Not content to rest upon their parents laurels, brothers Stephen and Jonathon continue to make tastefull improvements. There is a reasonably sized swimming pool and the necessary equipment to keep fitness fanatics busy. You can eat either in the confortable bar area or the old oak panelled dinning room, one of my favourite dinning rooms. Having known the hotel for some years I have yet to be disappointed with the quality or the service. There is no question of the chefs only being able to offer a set meal at a function. Good choices are available and they are presented very well, with more than adequate portions for all. The quality of the food is consistently good and any function is made more pleasurable by the ever attentive staff. Located close to the A55 Expressway this is very coveniently placed for the North Wales Coast or hinterland.
