Found this place on the Booking.com website and it met our needs very well. We were only staying for one night, on a Sunday and had a superior double. It was lovely; the bedroom was a bit small but the bathroom had a Jacuzzi bath and shower. The bed was very comfortable, with quality linens. The breakfast was very good, taken in the restaurant which is shared with the hotel next door. Parking was a bit limited but this was Sunday night so no problem.

However, most of Cardigan seemed to be shut on Sunday night and as the guest house restaurant was closed finding somewhere to eat took about an hour. The pub that was recommended by the friendly staff member also didn't serve food on a Sunday evening so it was a choice of Chinese or Indian. The Chinese is in the High Street, but the Indian is well worth looking for - it's a boat moored down by the river which proved to be excellent value for money with an extensive choice of curry dishes.

We would definitely use the Llety Teifi again on another visit to the area...

This guesthouse in located conveniently within walking distance of the town centre, but set back from the road, with its own car park. We were met at the door & shown to our comfortable & large room (room 3 - recommended). Unlike a June reviewer , we appreciated the lack of nets (yuk!) on the elegant windows, which had floor to ceiling plush curtains for privacy. Throughout our stay the staff were warm, friendly & very helpful - especially when someone in the room above let the bath overflow!
Only slight disappointment was from breakfasst in the sister B&B next door - which had fantastic cooked breakfasts & attentive staff, but the breads, yoghurt, fruit etc. were uninspiring & of poorest / value-brand quality (sliced bread still frozen) - not in keeping with the excellent standards of the guesthouse.
We will definitely return, highly recommended.

From the moment we walked in the front door out of the snow, we were treated exceptionally well by the young lady who checked us in. The room was beautifully decorated and had a really comfortable bed, we were upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi in which was pretty cool.

Breakfast is served next door at the sister bed and breakfast - a full welsh breakfast and unlimited toast, sets you up well for a bracing day in the winter.

The Llety Teifi is located at the top of the high street, everywhere is walkable. Car parking can be a bit tight by the looks of it but we had no problems.

Will return again without doubt, highly recommended.

What a shame so much money has been wasted on fashion designers rather than on making the place suitable for living in ! The bath was a most strange shape (at least for my body); the mirror over the basin tilted in such a way as to knock off anything on the shelf below; the TV was too far away to be of any use when watching from the bed; there were no net curtains or anything to restrict being seen from the main road thru large down to floor windows; the "easy " chairs were most uncomfortable. At least room 3 was a good size rather than room 10 which should be avoided at any cost by anyone wanting any storage space or any space to move without hitting your head on the sloping ceiling.
