We have just spent 4 nights at this friendly and welcoming guest house and will certainly return there when next in Ullapool. Our room on the ground floor was immaculate and beautifully decorated and had very comfortable twin beds. The large ensuite was also appreciated. We were welcomed with tea and biscuits and a chat with the owner in the magnificent conservatory/breakfast room overlooking the Loch and garden. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice (We particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit salad and also the fantastic sausages) In the lounge is a folder with sample menus of places to eat in the evening which we found very helpful - The Arch was particularly good.

We had a very comfortable stay here in July on the way to the Western Isles. Rooms were very clean and and beds comfortable. Breakfast was excellent (I particularly enjoyed the kippers) . The owner and her family were very friendly. The walk into town is pleasant, you can even do it along the beach if the tide is right.

I would thoroughly recommend this B and B. Great hospitality and one of the best views from a breakfast room I have ever seen. Our room was clean and comfortable with some nice little touches like tea and shortbread on arrival, chocolates on our pillow and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Breakfast was more than adequate, freshly cooked and served by friendly staff. It was a bit of a walk into town but this allowed us to walk off our over eating and drinking. Ullapool and this b and b is a delight. We would definitely return.

This summer my husband, mother and father travelled around Scotland and spent 2 nights at Ullapool at Dromnan Guest House. We had one twin and one family room overlooking the loch. They were spacious and well appointed rooms which were beautifully appointed and very clean. Throughout our whole stay we were made very welcome, the food was excellent with fresh fruit salad being available every morning along with the usual cereal and grapefruit (plus a good selection of the usual hot items). We will certainly use this Guest House again when in Ullapool
