“Simply brilliant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011

Fabulous people, great peace and comfort, a delicious and plentiful breakfast! It is difficult to put into words how simply amazing I found Abbeyside B & B. A thick covering of snow on my middle day but a cleared path to the road and to and around my car. The sculptures in the garden are worth a visit in their own right - made by the gentleman of the house who seems to be a master of all trades - how blessed the lady! I had been seriously ill for about 3 months but left feeling greatly restored though that wasn't why I came!

“Warmand welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2011

A warm and welcoming B and B with very comfortable bedroom. Breakfast was excellent and the lounge very comfortable. Excellent central location in Kelso with all amenities only a short walk away.

Almost immediately struck up a warm rapport with our host (Jimmy). He was so friendly and shared his local knowledge. The B&B was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely room overlooking their exceptional garden. A fabulous home-from-home and I would happily return. Highly recommend this lovely home.

“A little gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2011

This small B&B is right by the abbey, it's very very clean, breakfast is great, centrally located and a perfect place for a stop-over in Kelso.

The owners are very pleasant and chatty and our stay there was great.

“Stunning location, excellent hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2011

Abbey location in Kelso, close to all amenities, restaurants & pubs. Abbeyside is extremely clean, with comfortable beds. Hospitality is fantastic with generous breakfasts and lots to choose from. Parking easy. Fabulous garden & lounge area available for guests to use. Great base for touring the borders. Nearby riverside walk.
