Nancy was a fantastic host at the B&B. Nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was provided in their large kitchen, so was more like a social gathering than a meal. The breakfast itself was something to die for, and set you up for the whole day.
Also available was a cold supper in your cottage upon request, and again was absolutely fantastic. No need to go out in the evenings. That coupled with the digital TV and a large collection of DVD’s, one could curl up in-front of the log effect fire. Pure heaven.
The cottage itself has a beautiful lounge with the bedroom upstairs under the thatch, plus your own private bathroom. Everything was fitted out to a very high standard and absolutely spotless.
The B&B is situated down a country lane, parking on-site is no problem, and absolutely quiet. Fantastic view of the stars in the night sky.
The only downside is that there is only one cottage, so make sure you book up early in the spring/summer/autumn, for a stay that you won’t forget.
