This accommodation is a good value for the location, although it is a bit removed from town. The property itself is clean and quiet and our room and en suite bathroom were nice. A nice, peaceful getaway.

Booked from Australia via the internet and found such a warm and welcoming place to base ourselves for a family story exploration. Marie and Willy were so interested and made us feel so very welcome and helped us enjoy the area even more. Gairloch was a joy to visit; the Old Inn was the best place to be coming in from the cold and wet - food great, fires so embracing, coffee fine; family places found and enjoyed. We loved our stay - a sitting room at Kerrysdale would be the only thing on the wish list.
Room was comfy, location is very good. Good breakfast. No comfy living room / lounge to hang out. We hung out in the dining room which was nice but not very comfortable. Be prepared for a lot of midges outside. Probably the only place during our visit in Scotland where we had to run away from midges. Overall, a decent place.
I'm kind of torn in two...on the one hand I have to shout it out to the world what a wonderful place this is and on the other hand I want to jealously guard it and keep it my personal little secret. Beautiful house and grounds, a deliciously pretty room with a bathroom you can dance in, tasty breakfast in the morning and over all this presides Mary who is a wonderful host! Thanks again for having us...I'll be back, and then for longer than just one night! Anna & Matt
Gairloch and the local gardens are a great spot to spend some time visiting western Scotland. The guest house is fabulous, great service, good value. We recommend it.
