Stayed there two nights, very comfortable good sized room and bathroom although would benefit from the installation of a power shower.. Excellent buffet breakfast with good selection fresh cooked food. Honesty bar, free internet. Staff very friendly and helpful.
10% discount on evening meals at Old Mill 5minutes walk down the hill. Certainly worth the walk and the money. There are not enough adjectives to describe how good the restaurant was. Would certainly consider revisiting Gairloch just to stay here and eat at the Old Mill

We found the Gairloch Highland Lodge when looking for accommodation in the Gairloch area and we immediately felt attracted by the place. The lodge is a small hotel, with a slightly old feel and furniture, but with a cozy and familiar atmosphere in a beautiful spot (BTW, I am afraid that part of this peculiar atmosphere will be lost if a major renewal is performed). The rooms and bathroom are spacious. We had the additional luck of getting one room with an amazing view over the nearby bay, but I believe that the rooms that do not share this exact same view still have a very pleasant view over the nearby gardens. The only slightly negative point was the relative weak water pressure of the shower.

The service is excellent and all staff is friendly and informative. The breakfast is served in an amazing room, with large and tall windows, offering a fantastic view over the bay and surrounding gardens. The lodge itself only serves breakfast, but other meals are served in the Old Inn, a quite nice lodge located about 200m down the road, where Highland Lodge guests are entitled a 10% deduction. We had just one dinner at the bar of the Old Inn, which has a familiar and quite friendly pub atmosphere. The food was not remarkable, was but it was good at the standard level, with a quite efficient and friendly service.

We stayed here one night. The room is very spacious, so the Bathroom. There is a self-service bar in the lounge (beers, wine, whisky, cocktails, snack) and a internetcomputer for free of use. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, but for dinner you will have to eat in the restaurant nearby (you get a 10% discount voucher for that). Food is great, so the breakfast menue.
