Jan & Mark were able to give us one of the best experience in Scotland: after a long day driving, we found a warm atmosphere, in a beautiful room. Clean and quiet, comfortable and with care of any detail to make you enjoy your stay, the Croft 23 is a must if you are around Gairloch. And the sustainable food, with local products and "homemade" eggs, makes you feel less guilty for such a rich breakfast!

The title of this review sums it up really. Just the one night but we would really liked to have stayed much longer. The welcome, the room ('Heather'), the facilities, the owners & the breakfast were all great. Nothing was too much trouble for Jan & Mark & their attention to detail is exceptional. There is no doubt that if we were ever in the area again, we would most certainly ensure that we booked to stay at Croft 23, for as long as possible!

We really enjoyed our stay here, unfortunatly it was just a night.
The B&B is not directly in Gairloch, however the about 7 miles drive on a single track road is really worth doing. You then hit the small village of South Erradale which is situated next to the coast. In the village itself is a small pub which serves basic meals. More advanced options are a few minutes drive away.
The house itself has a rather unique architecture and present itself very openly and welcoming. The room we got was fantastic and very tastefully appointed. Plenty of space and it felt more like a small flat than a B&B room :-)
Jan & Mark are really nice hosts, we enjoyed their breakfasts (with eggs from their own hens - be aware of them when parking the car...!) and their tips on what to see and do in Western Ross.
Will definitly come back again!
