Stayed in the penthouse apartment, beautifully furnished, good kitchen appliances and equipment, comfortable bed, felt much more a home than a holiday apartment. Tall people (like me ) should note there is reduced headroom in both bathroom and kitchen. Only niggle was no thermostatic shower valve which meant juggling the hot and cold taps, and a rather puny shower head.
However for us our stay was spoiled by the traffic noise which made a good nights sleep impossible. Louth seems to have a small group of antsocial youths who drive/ride round and round the streets on noisy motorbikes and cars. Yes the apartment is double glazed but with the windows shut it was too hot in the bedroom.
Such a shame when the owners have made the place so nice.

We travelled to UK for business purpose and were located in Kidgate appt. Kidgate has been our home for a long time and we totally enjoyed our stay in the appartment. All Seasons is located near the town centre so everything we wanted was just 5 minutes away, this made our life so easy. The appt. was cleaned on weekly basis, and the owners didnt gave us a single chance to complain about anything, impressive.
I have to say, i was too impressed by the hospitality shown by the owners. It was my 1st travel to UK and they helped me in understanding the local culture, food and 'english' lifestyle. The best part was, we used the local bus services often for the travel. I used to check the arrived bus on the bus station from my kitchen (as the bus station is so near) and then walk to catch, it helped me a lot!!!!
I would like to thank the owners for making my stay so wonderfull, those are some happy memories!!! In future All seasons will be my 1st option to stay always.

Lovely appartment, very well furnished. Great welcome. Owners on-hand but only if you need them! Attention to detail is good - very comfortable.

I very much enjoyed my week in the Upgate penthouse apartment and would like to thank Adrian (and Amanda, whom, unfortunately, I did not meet in person) for providing such a comfortable, well-equipped flat and such friendly, personal service and support to a visiting Yank. Upgate requires negotiating stairs to reach the flat as well as from room to room within it, so I do not recommend it to anyone with physical disabilities, but with that in mind, it has it's own quirky charm, and I highly recommend it to the able-bodied. Louth is an old market town with considerable charm of its own. Don't miss the Church of St James, the inside, not just the beautiful steeple, and I particularly recommend its tea/coffee shop, where I had a delicious home-made chocolate cake, cut to order, and a latte under the tower with a view of the nave, a wonderful, relaxing experience prior to my tour of the church itself.
