“A Charming Bed and Breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2011

Magical - it was one of the highlights of our trip!! It is a wonderful antique property that overlooks Padstow and the water. We were fortunate as we had booked a room on the second floor that overlooked the Bay. As gardeners, we had come to Cornwall on a gardening tour and were happy to find a very pretty English brick walled border garden that was still in bloom, as well as beginning to bear some interesting late fall fruits and berries. It was refreshing to start our day with such beautiful natural surroundings. The Inn itself is very nicely appointed with superb decorating and furnishings and is a short walk to the harbor, which is busy with boating and fishing and offers shopping and amazing choices for dining. The breakfasts were amazing and the best we experienced in our two week travel. However, most importantly, it was the kindness and sincere friendliness of our hosts, Mary and Mike, that really tipped the scale and made this the perfect way to end our time in Great Britain!

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful - I peeked into one that was being made up next to us, and it was a love...

“It's too good to be called a B&B!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

Sumptious rooms, great setting and an extremely warm and friendly environment. Couldn't have been anywhere better to celebrate a 50th with a few close friends.

Room Tip: They're all excellent, although personally, i'd pick from the rooms upstairs.

“welcoming and fabulous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

we arrived on friday after a fraught journey (roadworks, diversions etc) to be met by Mike with a lovely glass of fizz and calm words . he swiflty organised parking for us and showed us to our beautiful room (the estuary Room) v blissful with wonderful views . WE went to a restaurant that Mike reccommended The Basement which was superb and very good value . The room was extremely comfortable and our bathroom was gorgeous with lovely shampoos , soaps etc made by Mary (Mikes wife) . In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast , I highly reccommend the egg crumpets or scarmbled eggs with somked salmon (the whole menu looked good) We would definitley stay here again

Room Tip: the estuary room was great but when you book just ask what they suggest

“Can't Fault It!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2011

I took a party of friends to Coswarth to celebrate my birthday. This was our 5th visit to Coswarth and it holds very special memories for us. Mike and Mary have the whole thing running so smoothly that considering anywhere else in Padstow is simply not an option for us. The rooms are all lovely; and we have stayed in all of them now! Our favourite, Brunyee, to be truthful they are all decorated to a very high standard.
Breakfast is to die for and sets you up well for the walk along the beach.
Hannah who helps Mike is a star and nothing is too much trouble, a great asset to Coswarth.
If I was to own a B&B this is how it would be done, with style, a good team and a big smile.
Love it, sorry we will be back again soon!!

“It's truly lovely!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

We stayed here early September. It's wonderful, absolutely loved it. Great location, great accommodation, delicious food, run by a lovely couple, nothing is too much trouble. Selfishly, I didn't want to write a review because I wanted to keep this a secret! Wish we lived nearer & could stay again. Many thanks to all. Tricia
