we have just returned from a weekend at north berwick, staying at 12 quality street and were very impressed with everything. North Berwick is just a perfect place to go to and this b&b is one of the best i have stayed at. Had scotch pancakes and honey for breakfast and they tasted devine as was everything else on the menu. Staff lovely and so helpfull, can,t wait to go back.

This small hotel is located right in the centre of North Berwick. We managed to secure a space in their private car park (which is accessed from a public car park), and had two rooms, one on the 2nd floor at the back and one on the 1st floor at the front. Although both were equally nicely furnished and of a decent size, I'd recommend a room at the back if you're sensitive to noise. The breakfast is great, substantial and varied; and as we let them know in advance they let us take it after the end of the official breakfast time.

My Wife and I recently stayed at the hotel. Really helpful and friendly staff from when we walked in the door until we left. The room was large and comfortable and the breakfast was first class, and at £60 per night superb value. Would certainly stay again and thoroughly recommend

Stayed in Glasgow for two days and stopped off in North Berwick on our way home to Newcastle for a one night stay. Booked room last minute on Late Rooms for £80 bed and breakfast.

Room was very large with lovely and comfy cast iron bed, beautiful simple decor. Excellent bathroom with large shower.

Breakfast is served until 9.30am each morning but as we had been out late the night before (try the excellent chinese restaurant on the main street), we didn't get up in time for breakfast and went downstairs to check-out around 10.45am. The owner was lovely and said they were still serving breakfasts in the cafe attached to the hotel, so we were quite welcome to go and have our breakfast - we couldn't believe our luck!!

The choice of breakfasts was excellent - smoked salmon and scrambled egg, smoked haddock and poached egg, full scottish breakfast etc. We both had the full scottish breakfast and after staying in 100's of hotels and b&b's over the years, I can honestly say this was the best one I have ever had - local produce was used including bacon, sausage, stornoway black pudding, haggis, potato scone, tomato and eggs cooked to your choice. A big rack of toast was also brought to the table with a pot of tea for two - absolutely faultless.

I will recommend this hotel to all my friends - North Berwick was idyllic.
