With no prior warning on our arrival there was a note on the door that stated our reservation (which had been made 4 months in advance) had been canceled and a hand drawn map attached to another B&B. After more than 1 hour driving around and stopping at least 8 times to ask local people to look at map and direct us we finally found our B&B for the night. Our only consultation was that the B&B we were sent to was GREAT. An email in advance would certainly have been appreciated.

We stayed at Drem as we were going to a friends wedding nearby. We were welcomed from the start. It is a beautiful place to stay and we could not fault the hospitality. The owners looked after us from beginning to end. The room was lovely, very spacious and clean and the bathroom too was lovely and big. We had a beautiful view of the garden and it was perfectly situated by Drem train station. We often visited friends in North Berwick and the station nearby was great. The place was beautiful, but what made our visit great was the owners Marlene & Hugh. They really did look after us and when we come back to the area there is nowhere else we would rather stay.

Very nice house, old and perfectly restored. Very warm welcome. No noise despite the proximity of the road and the railway. The room is renovated, very comfortable. The bathroom is fully clean with a nice walk-in shower. Breakfast is delicious, cooked to order. No downside. Restaurants nearby? We dined in Haddington.

We just spent one night here, but were very impressed by the place and by the friendly owners. It's also very convenient for the Greywalls restaurant, if you're looking for somewhere to stay nearby.
