We stayed at Drem as we were going to a friends wedding nearby. We were welcomed from the start. It is a beautiful place to stay and we could not fault the hospitality. The owners looked after us from beginning to end. The room was lovely, very spacious and clean and the bathroom too was lovely and big. We had a beautiful view of the garden and it was perfectly situated by Drem train station. We often visited friends in North Berwick and the station nearby was great. The place was beautiful, but what made our visit great was the owners Marlene & Hugh. They really did look after us and when we come back to the area there is nowhere else we would rather stay.

Very nice house, old and perfectly restored. Very warm welcome. No noise despite the proximity of the road and the railway. The room is renovated, very comfortable. The bathroom is fully clean with a nice walk-in shower. Breakfast is delicious, cooked to order. No downside. Restaurants nearby? We dined in Haddington.

We just spent one night here, but were very impressed by the place and by the friendly owners. It's also very convenient for the Greywalls restaurant, if you're looking for somewhere to stay nearby.

I secured a last minute booking for two nights based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were very pleased with our stay. Marlene is indeed a very kind and helpful hostess. Her recommendations for restaurants and activities were perfect for us (travelling with my wife & 3-year old daughter). The breakfasts were excellent, too. We did not feel cramped in our room and the beds were comfortable.
