A group of friends were staying at this hotel on a saturday evening, I was only up for the day. When we asked if I could have a shower in one of my friends rooms before going out for the evening the owners were very kind and laid on extra towels for me even though I wasn’t a guest.

Very friendly helpful hotel, that are willing to go that extra mile with their personal service.

As a group of cyclists we were looking for good accomodation at a reasonable rate and we certainly found it here. We arrived after a bad days cycling - 90 miles of wind and rain - but the welcome went beyond what would be expected. Our shoes were dryed off for us along with wet clothing.

The rooms are clean and comfortable if not luxurious but certainly adequate for our purposes. The welcome at the bar was great and the dining recomendation was spot on - a great indian restaurant.

Breakfast was just right for hungry cyclists.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Thetford and especially to cyclists - VERY cycle friendly

We stayed as a family in the Wereham house when my mum had passed away in a nearby nursing home. It was a very sad time for us but we were very well looked after, even to the extent that the owner, Andy gave a lift to the coach station for my elderly uncle and aunt at a very early hour. Our rooms were comfortable, pleasant and clean and our full English breakfast was superb. We also held the wake at the Wereham the following week and again we were looked after well. I would not hesitate to recommend this friendly hotel to anyone visiting Thetford.

My husband and I stayed with our son, his wife and their two small children. Nothing was too much trouble for Andrew and Caroline. Wonderful breakfast, good sized rooms and just a really pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend this hotel.
