Three of us stayed here for one night at the end of February 2011. We were cycling around Thetford Forest for the weekend, which I can recommend and the forest boundary is not far to ride from this bed and breakfast.

The owners Andy and Caroline really looked after us and could not do enough for us. We got totally soaked on our first day of riding and were able to wash our bikes down in the car park. Caroline then took all our soaked gear, washed it and dried it ready for our next day, which was fantastic and certainly made the whole weekend a better experience ,and we were able to enjoy our second day in thankfully drier conditions.
On Saturday evening we had some drinks in their bar, then took Carolines advice and had a meal at the Indian restaurant 2 mins walk down the road which was excellent.

The bed and breakfast is very clean and comfortable and centrally located in Thetford, but in a quiet street so you will have a good nights sleep. The breakfast was very good and set us up for our second day. I would definitely recommended this as a place to stay, and the owners are very friendly and really know how to look after their guests. We will be staying here again in the future for more cycling around the forest.

I stopped here in January for a work trip. In the centre of Thetford about a 5-10 min walk from the train station.

Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for the owners. With being on my own I didn't want to go out to eat but asked if I could have a light dinner in my room. A gorgeous baked potato, cheese and beans with lots of yummy salad and coleslaw was brought up promptly at 6.30. I was even offered a lovely pudding which had been made for a private party that evening.

The room I stopped in was small but had a lovely big window, comfortable bed, tv/DVD, tea/coffee facilities and a power shower; exactly what u needed after a long journey. The hotel also has free wifi which is beneficial for overnight work stays.

After a perfect nights sleep, breakfast is served from 7am. A selection of fresh fruit, juices and yoghurt as well as full English, healthy hot food like egg of wholemeal muffins and porridge, cereal and toast.

All in all a really pleasant stay. I think it's hard to feel at home in a hotel but nothing was too much trouble for the owners. And very reasonable prices too!

We recently stayed at the Wereham house hotel for 1 night, whilst we were visting center parcs for the day. It's a small hotel just near Thetford town centre.

The owners (Andy and Caroline) are very hospitable and nothing is too much trouble for them. Ahead of our visit we requested a quiet room and Caroline responded promptly via e-mail. On arrival, we received a nice room facing the back of the hotel which was very quiet.

The rooms are small, as is the bathroom but both are nice and clean. The bathroom seemed relatively new and the shower pressure was good. The room had a small TV & DVD player and there are even a selection of dvds you can borrow from reception.  There was also Tea and coffee facilities in the room.

We informed the hotel we were vegetarian and Andy very kindly made us a made to order vegetarian breakfast - very thoughtful and very tasty.
 
The hotel is about 5 miles from Centre Parcs, (about a 10 min drive straight down the A11).

Although we were only there for one night, we enjoyed staying at the Wereham house. If visiting Center Parcs or Thetford and you need a nice small hotel nearby, this hotel is definitely worth visiting. The other nearby hotels are the Bell inn (about 200 metres away) and the premier inn (a couple of miles away), although i doubt either could give the personal service received at teh Wereham house Hotel. If I was to visit Center Parcs again I would most likely stay here again.

We took over the whole of the hotel for the weekend for ourselves and guests at our son's wedding which took place nearby. Andrew and Caroline are perfect hosts and did everything they could to ensure that our stay went smoothly despite the pre-wedding nerves! Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and en suites are spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were superb. A most enjoyable stay. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
