The hotel is ideally situated for the corn exchange theatre. Just stayed for 1 night after watching a show. Staff very friendly and efficient. Would definately stay again. The only thing that didn't appeal to me were the frosted windows.

4 of us passing through Kings Lynn and needing food, eventually found parking spot on the market place, the Globe being the nearest hostelry, (Wetherspoons) we decided to eat there. The staff were extremely helpful but the food fell decidedly short of expectations. I have eaten at different Wetherspoons and have generally found the food to be good, but not on this occasion.

stayed for one night with my daughter we were visiting Sandringham House the next day which was 15 mins from Kings Lynn. Room was clean but tired looking really in need of a re-vamp !!!! We arrived at lunch time but check in was at 1.30 parked in the market which cost 4.50 needed to pay for another hour at 5pm but found that I should have parked on the long stay carpark behind Barclays would have only cost about £3 till 8am next morning.
Weatherspoons is below so food ok and reasonable as well as drink if u fancy a few pints!!
Room could have done with aircon it was very stuffy and window opened a crack for a minute the closed itself!! We stayed mid week so not as noisey as weekend, shops close by and restraunts. OK for a stopover for one night or if you are going on the drink seemed popular with contractors. Thouroghly recomend the buffet chinese in the market place it was excellent.

I quite liked this hotel, staff were helpful and keen to talk about local area. Hotel was conveniently located by market square. Parking was About £6 for the day but note: the overnight rate of £1 is great but it expires at 8am so be ready to get up early to feed the meter. Also there is no parking in the market square on Monday or Thursday evenings/overnight because of the market so you will have to park your car elsewhere, which may mean 10 minute walk.
As to the hotel it is on top of the Wetherspoons Lloyds bar which seemed to be Kings Lynn's busiest (and biggest) pub. You are given fair warning that for Fri/Sat night stays the rooms will be noisy til 1am or so because of the DJ/entertainment - but please do take this seriously. We were on 1st floor and up late, but thumping bass from music downstairs means you probably won't even hear your TV.
Rooms were small, but clean. Wasn't particularly hot weather when we stayed which was just as well as window wouldn't open and there was no aircon in room.
Bathroom with powerful shower was OK but extractor was poor and without a window it was like a sauna after 2 minutes.
Overall I'd say pretty good value for money and I liked the atmosphere of this hotel and the town, which overall was very quiet - that is apart from the seagulls! Be warned they were screaching outside our window very early and woke us up!
