Large comfortable room. Great food. Good choice at breakfast. Staff are very cheerful and helpful.

With a Groupon offer, we enjoyed 2 lovely nights, excellent food, comfortable room and were lucky enough to enjoy plenty of January sunshine and blue skies!! Returning after a day exploring the coast to a delicious afternoon tea, a real fire would have been a bonus! Staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble and we would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you

We stayed at the kings Head after purchasing a groupon deal, I was not sure what to expect, but found the whole experience a great pleasure, the rooms where a decent size bathroom a lot larger than expected and the staff couldn't do enough for us (even changed the set menu for us, when we informed the staff one of our party didn't like Pork) What a refreshing change from some of the other Hotels we have stayed in. We shall be paying them a visit again!

After buying the Groupon and reading other reviews, we had high expectations. Our expectations were not met, even at a "normal" level. The lights in our bathroom didn't work (one needed a bulb and the other was just plain broken) and the bed was horrible. We got one of the rooms with 2 twin beds made into a king bed and it was one of the worst beds I have ever slept on...we even considered not staying the second night. The food in the restaurant was good, especially the burger, but we felt like outsiders. We also feel the Groupon overstated the value..significantly and will be filing a complaint. Even though it said breakfast was included, we had no idea what we could order and not be charged.

We did not meet the owners, and only one person told us her name the entire time we were there. We would not stay there again, nor would we recommend it to anyone.
