very close to a nice beach. Not too windy, waters are calm, sun beds and umbreally resonably priced. There is a very scenic walkay along the beach, it goes for miles and miles and there are plenty of bars and restaurants along it. You can walk your babies on their stroller as it's very smooth and there are no steps.

the hotel is very nice. Apartments are spacious and comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped. room cleaning is daily, they change sheets and towels almost every day.

There is a nice swimming pool and jacuzzi, both with pretty cold water though.

it's close to las americas night life but playa fanabe itself is quieter and more modern.

visited with out 4 year old twins, having visited Tenerife many times over the past 15 years. The location and facilities of the apartments were really good, staff friendly, though reception not overhelpful and a bit indifferent. The apartment was a bit "tired" could do with kitchen and bathroom upgrade, and the beds were so uncomfy-we complained, and were told that the sofa beds in the lounge were due for upgrade in August - meanwhile they fixed the non-existant slats on the base of ours with sticky tape...... The apartment floors were filthy - until we complained, and there were rather more cockroaches in it than I would have liked/expected, though we sorted that by the end of the holiday with a can of spray from the supermarket - which they should really have done for us after we complained I thought. Entertainment was fine for the children, but we tended to walk round the shops/bars etc most evenings so didnt really matter to us. The pool was nice except for the stupid reserved sunbeds thing which meant nowhere nice to sit and empty beds reserved - though at the risk or causing a row I suppose we could just have taken them! On the whole we enjoyed our stay - and I guess it was value for money, the children really enjoyed it but another time I think I would forget the freedom of self-catering and go for a nice hotel, unless I can discover a better standard of apartment! We had a great day out at the Loro park and an awful few hours at the new Siam park - not the place for young children, the queues were ridiculous, rides very limited for youngsters, and even the beach bit was too busy to enjoy, we managed to nearly loose both children within half an hour and retreated quickly to the fanabe beaches instead - much more pleasant and far cheaper!

I was living in Tenerife for over a year and Playa Fanabe is one of the best locations here for me. This is the rason why I have chosen for my holiday a hotel in his location. The Fanabe beach is very nice, the well known Playa del Duque with nice shopping center and passages is very near.On top of that this part of Las Americas is much more quite, relaxing and on higher standard than the other parts of the town. The Parque del Sol itself was OK, good level of services, staff was friendly, food was good.

Going to stay here for a week but left the hotel after two nights. Very noisy, impossible to have a good nights sleep. Asked for another room but was not possible. Very unfriendly staff!

Dinner is horrible! Breakfast was ok, because you don´t expect much after the first days dinner. They have buckets on all the tables for trash and only that says a lot of the Managements view on the costumers.

Filthy towels - otherwise clean room.

Dont stay here if you want a good nights sleep and friendly staff.
