Have just returned from Tenerife our weather could have been better but couldn't fault the hotel especially the food which is above average for this type of holiday.
Main dining room is buffet style and most of the food was of a good quality.
The theme restaurants of which you can pick three if staying for one week - we chose the Asian Mexican and Italian out of the three we thought that the Asian and Mexican were as good as eating out in restaurants where we live so for this we would rate the hotel highly.
The drinks are as usual locally produced, you can if you wish purchase international brands. The house wine is ok though. We did purchase a bottle of white which wasn't expensive and was quite nice they do not overcharge the bottle cost 11 Euros.
We stayed in the Tenerife side which is smaller than it's Sister hotel Adeje. We liked this as it was a lot quieter - having said this if you wanted to see the shows you had to go over to the Adeje which is a short walk away. The Adeje would probably suit younger couples and families.
This hotel is a bit out of the way - the hotel runs a bus into the centre which you have to book. They pick you up at 12 from the Adeje side but the bus doesn't pick you up until six on the return, this was a bit too long for us so we came back by the local transport bus - missed our stop and had to get a cab - was quite funny when we found ourselves at the end of the line!
The grounds are really well kept and staff were always cleaning the public areas.
The spa was very expensive luxury pedicure 50 Euros - the beautician was very good though.
