just come back from oasis on AI.Hotel is kept very clean, you would have tobe pretty fussey not to be able to find anything to eat at the buffet meals.not many english in oasis but you can use all the facilitys in sister hotel the floral.which has more english staying.also we found the food better.bar service in oasis is slow, there are plenty of things to do at hotel.evening ent not to good at oasis but we went floral which was better.(dont miss charlie chaplin)very good.if your AI you get free addmision to lido.but you cant use AI in there. If you go to watch a show in oasis you have to come out of show for a drink as you can on get AI drnks at main bar.english football at britania pub 30yds away.2 euro a pint.if you wont quite holiday this is good location.local bus stops opp hotel about every 20mins.can be busy.we found prices in local shopd in general cheaper than market.

“Always wary of "real" reviews - but I am honest !!”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel from 20th Jan to 27th Jan 2012 and had a fantastic time - like everyone else, checked on Trip Advisor to see what reviews had been written before, and must admit was worried... but to be 100% honest, we had a lovely time. Rooms are a little dated, but clean - we were in Room 1517 and this was lovely - fantastic views of the sea, pool, mountains, sunsets and sun rises. Food was good - plentiful, good variety.. drinks obviously flowed... by the pool you did have plastic glasses for obvious reasons but if you sat in the main bar, you were given glasses... nice shops on site.. a few shops outside the hotel and supermarket just across the road. Nice British Bar, Britannia, just 2 mins walk from the hotel - if you want to watch Sky Sports (!). Staff were ok - some of the male bar staff were a little grumpy... the only thing that let the hotel down was entertainment in the evening... there is a room/bar within the hotel where there is some evening entertainment, but if you are All Inclusive you do not get free drinks in there! You have to pay...!?!?! Work that one out!! Very weird....! There is not a lot to do in the evenings - my husband and I played cards and "people watched".... which turned out to be a lot of fun!! Lovely little walk around the headland of the coast - when we stayed te weather was fantastic - came home with a lovely tan - did get cloudy throughout mid morning but cleared after lunch - the clouds tends to hang across the top of the surrounding mountains. Apart from that, we would definitely go back to this hotel - no problems with it at all!!

Room Tip: pick a higher level floor - and pool view otherwise you will be looking out onto the main road, try...

“Holiday is what you make of it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

My wife and i along with two friends had booked to stay at the Fiesta Floral hotel from 14th Jan to 21st Jan 2012. Booking was made with Jet2 holidays whose flight was perfect, bang on time and loads of leg room. Also when getting off plane were transferred to hotel by mini bus so no delays. Good start so far. We were dropped off at the Floral hotel only to be told by reception that we were in fact allocated to the Oasis hotel. We had stayed twice previously at the Fiesta and had passed the large crowd of Spanish pensioners regulalrly standing outside of the Oasis so were pretty reluctant to try the hotel, but we trudged the short walk up the hill to see what it had to offer. First impressions walking into it was that it looked better than the Fiesta, similarly the room we had was better than those we hd before in the Fiesta. SHort time later the four of us made our way to the pool, this was about 3:00 p.m. Now here is where the hotel excels. Decent sized pool, nicer surroundings, loads of sun beds and all with deep padded cushions, unlike the fiesta where you have to buy a thin cushion or do without. The next day we made our way to the pool about 9:30 a.m. and again, no problem whatsoever getting a bed. We had been told by reception that we had full use of the Fiest hotels facilities whereas later in the week a Fiesta customer told us they could not get drinks at the Oasis so we did well out of the deal. The Oasis is definitely geared towards the Spanish OAP market and the food was more reflective of this. I am a more fussy eater so struggled some times for a meat i liked, my wife and friends however loved the selection of pastas and salads. We did eat several times in the Fiesta and the food there was perfectly fine, the steak one night being excellent. The animation team at the Fiesta is excellent with Momo being exceptional, real nice friendly guy who remembered us right away when he seen us. The entertainment is in the main the usual Spanish hotel type, however there is one exception, if you are there and have the chance to see Johnny Circus, do NOT miss it. This was second time we seen him and he is so funny, A Charlei Chaplin act who works the crowd for about an hour before his show is even due to start. You tube him to see him. Good selection of drinks at the all inclusive and they seem to do what it says on the tin. The other highlight for us at this hotel is that when the entertainment finishes, they run a disco for the final hour, 11 till 12 and that lets you get a wee jig in before heading off to bed. We have been at the 5 star Bahia Principe across the road from here and it tends to die a death at 11 leaving you feeling deflated at the end of the night, so probably truth be told my wife and i have enjoyed our holiday here more than at Bahia. We will no doubt go back to this resort next January and although our booking will likely be made for the Fiesta hotel, we will look to spend our time at the Oasis pool and our nights in the Fiesta. Give it a go, it is a budget hotel and well worth a look.
