A family of four mum, dad, teenager and younger child. July 2010.
you never quite know what to expect until you get there but I have to say i have not found anywhere better yet.
The staff were friendly had to wait only a short time to check in.
Maids were in daily and didn't come to early for us and they were always polite.
There are computers at the reception for Internet access and also a wifi area so was good the computers did play up now and again but nothing major.
Also a couple of little gift shops on the complex as well and they were very good as well as a little shop, there is a supermarket 2 minutes from the hotel as well which was excellent. The Isabel is in a very central place.
The villa WOW the space was amazing the first time we have had a villa because we didnt want to be crammed up in a small hotel room, and now I cant find anywhere else that tops the Isabel.
The complex is clean and tidy, the entertainment was good, we didn't eat at the hotel as we went self catering, only downside was no oven it would have helped but we had everything else we needed to cook with.
The pool is a fair size which my daughter loved.
At the villa there was a hot tub which we didn't know if we would get one or not but it was great only gripe was it was past it's best ( it had a crack in the plastic and obviously well used) but still worked fine.
We did find 2 cockroaches in the living area but there was something to spray under the sink and that dealt with it. I could have let it ruin the holiday but chose not to there was a gap under the door where I feel they must have got in.
I had friends staying at a timeshare place up the road at the same time and on arrival they were given traps for them so I think it is just something you are going to come across in Tenerife no matter how many stars the accomadation has, the same with ants any hot country you will get them you just have to keep the place tidy.
A sweeping brush and an oven would be handy, that is the only thing I would say was needed in the villas.
Would be nice to see a newer hot tub when we return there this summer.
