This hotel is lovely and after a horrid first night at the Camping Paloma down the road we moved to the Tres Mares and it made our holiday in the end. The staff were very freindly and welcoming and as regular visitors to Tarifa we would definetely stay in this hotel again. The rooms were very spacey and the bathrooms modern and clean. We had no traffic noise as we were at the back of the hotel and every morning we woke up to look out at the beautiful scenery. I would definetely reccommend this hotel if you want tranquility and closeness to the beach.

The hotel website was quite vague, and although the very helpful receptionist did advise that there was a road between the hotel and the beach, we were very disappointed on arrival to see how busy the road actually was. Arguably a little lack of planning on our part- but I wanted to warn others that this might be annoying if you are looking for peace and tranquility, as we were. Luckily, the reception staff were very friendly and arranged for us to move to the sister hotel, Hotel Dos Mares, with much quieter bungalows on the bea chfront
