Stayed here for 2 nights in August. Owners have accommodation on both sides of the street and we were allocated room in building opposite main reception. This was an interesting building, well decorated and the room was spotlessly clean and of adequate size, decent sized boom with a juliette balcony overlooking the street - however the double glazed doors meant we weren't troubled by street noise. Small breakfast room adjacent to reception with basic hostal breakfast. For around £30 pppn in August, in town centre location, this represents very good value.

A very good hostal for this price. Breakfast is served between 9.30 and 11.30, isn't that great?! We had a good sleep, checked our e-mail here (I'm writing this in the hostel) and paid only 35 euros. Not bad at all.

This hostal is really very nice. It is located in the heart of Nerja and everything is within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were small but nice. We had a double room with a small balcony. The room and bathroom were very clean and towels were replaced daily. The breakfast was basic but good and it was served until 11.30am which is good! Overall I would really recommend this place to anyone who is visitng Nerja for a long or short stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights, last minute booking hence was a little bit wary of what would be left at this time of year - stayed in ground floor room of annexe (immediately opposite Hotel Carabeo/restaurant 34 which apparently used to own the annexe) Room was excellent with access to very large garden, car park other side of wall but stiil quiet in the garden and with room doors shut no noise at all - breakfast served in small but pleasant area by reception overlooking main street, cheese,ham,cereal and toast, juice and coffee cost 2.50 euros pp - Lady at reception pleasant and helpful - location brilliant, 3 minute walk to Balcon de Europ, 15-20 walk to Burriana beach with a couple of pleasant bays in between - recommend food at retaurant 34, food and atmosphere at jose Cruz, Burriana beach (ok they had just won the world cup semi!)
