“great position”

This small apartment block is really close to the beach and an easy walk into town. The staff are helpful, cheerful and informative. The rooms are basic but a reasonable size and clean,
However, there is an air of tiredness about the place - could probably do with a makeover but I guess this will wait until the economy improves. We had a good price for this trip and I think it was good value for money even with my previous comments. We enjoyed our time in Nerja - to our surprise arrived in the middle of the feria - stunning!! We will be back. Parking close by is free.

Room Tip: We had a room at the front ( sea view) although as it was festival time a few evenings were a bit no...

“cheap but cheerful”

Have stayed 7 times, rooms always clean, basic, but what do you expect for the money? Staff can be quirky but nothing is too much trouble, adjust to their hours. Can't wait to go back. Close to all amenities but far enough from resort centre to be quiet at night.

Room Tip: Basic but clean. Everything you need for self catering.

“Disappointed - Will not be back”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 June 2011

The best rooms do not appear to be on offer through an agent. They are reserved for those booking direct. To change rooms from the back to the front of the hotel cost me another 142 Euros. We were told that in the future if we wanted a room at the front we should book direct.
The rooms are advertised with air conditioning. It was very hot in May but they would not switch it on because they did not think it hot enough, we were given a small fan - useless.
One of the doors on a kitchen cabinet was broken and swinging lose and no effort was made to repair it over the ten days we were there. They advertise a solarium but this is now permanently closed and there was no reception after 3 pm, A good situation though , close to the beach and shops.

“Overall, a cracking little hotel!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 May 2011

OK, to start, I booked a surprise holiday though an online agent for a christmas present. I looked on here for reviews and was a little worried by what I saw. When we flew out, we arrived late to the hotel, about 11.15pm. The front gates where locked and we had to use a security buzzer to be let in. Now, I honestly found this reassuring rather than worrying and , once allowed in, keys were handed to us very quickly by the owner. We were allocated room 208, a room with no balcony, but we knew this anyhow.
The room was small, but spotless.
We pushed the two single beds together and created a double, which was fine for us. There was an air conditioning unit that worked lovely, but as with all aircons, was a bit loud. Not the hotels fault.
The location of the hotel is cracking. It is around 5 mins walk to the beach and less than 10 to town centre. There is free parking outside the hotel and we left our car there for several days with no trouble although the hotel does have secure parking for 12 euros a night.
There are numerous supermarkets within walking distance to the hotel, one literally next door. However, we did find Lidl up the road. Much cheaper.
THere is a laundry facility there, but we didn't get chance to use it.
The reception is open from ten till three and they are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to help.
The pool really is that small, but after all, your only a couple of minutes from the beach and why stay next to the pool when nature has supplied something much more beautiful. We had a little trouble with noise on our fifth day, some more people turned up with a loud stereo. The hotel sorted it out very quickly and no more noise was heard.
No direct sun in morning into rooms. Fab as the rooms don't heat up and are quite cool when its hot outside.

One more thing to say. We found this a brilliant little hotel to base ourselves from. We aren't people to sit around the pool and this is a brill little hotel to see more of Andalucia from. And as a surprise,we've booked back fro the same next year and if you book a second time with them, they will give you a chunky discount. We can't wait to go back there.

Me and a friend stayed at this hotel last year may.. It was two girls in our earlie 20s.. I know the time we went was not peak season so not busy.
We arrived at night bout 11.30pm.. Was greeted by a gentleman who was very helpful.. We got in our room. The room was fine.. Just like any other self catering.
We was here for seven nights.
During our stay we did found that the wall was thin and could hear people coming bk at early morning. At one stage we got two males knocking on our door to go for coffee.
Location is abit middle nowhere.. The a nearby beach across the road but dirty so for a clean beach bout 20min walk.
Supermarket 10min away
