This was a very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff but was let down by the food. The flavours were good but most of it was lukewarm. After a few nights of this (breakfast was a little better) we ended up eating out making our bargain holiday dearer than expected. Even though we went into the restaurent as soon as the doors opened the food was still not hot. I even read a review on here saying the same and this was several years ago! Choose this hotel for bed and breakfast and enjoy the many good and varied restaurents that Nerja has. The hotel Jacuzzi was no longer available, not a problem for us but thought I should mention it. Also if you want a snack or a drink there is a corridor by the side of the restaurent and behind reception ( where the Internet access is situated) which if you follow it down it leads into Numero 6 Bar, which is actually part of the hotel.

Rely nice hotel with a Spanish feel
The hotel is very well kept and makes you feel welcome ,the staff are very helpful and accommodating.
Rooms are of a nice size but no Coffee making facility.
The location is great for all sites of Nerja close to beach and Balcon de Europe.
We stayed half board the food was a nice standard but very spanish in style,
breakfast is great full English.
The hotel has a beautiful sun solarium with a small dip pool great for relaxing.
I would definatly stay again when in the area .

We arrived in Nerja at 10:30pm at night looking for a hotel with no knowledge of the area. We ended up checking into the Jimesol initially for 2 nights but ended up staying for 4. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful.

The location is the real plus with this hotel. In the dark we had no idea where we were, in the morning we realised how handy it was. 5 min walk to the old town, the beach and the majority of the bars restaurants near the sea.

The Jimesol is not a memerable hotel, but if you want a clean,tidy and cheap base to explore Nerja, it's a good option.

myself and 2 friends have just spent 4 nights here on B & B basis and really enjoyed it - first night was rather noisy due to the vicinity of the hotel to the Tutti Frutti area - but once we closed the window and turned air con on everything was fine - would ask for a room at the back with a balcony next time though as no where to hang towels and wet beach wear. Hotel ideally placed - easy walking distance to beach, and Balcon, and the larger Burriana beach was not too far once you knew the short cut( head for Allsorts sweet shop at the Balcon and just walk for 10 mins). Hotel clean, maid service fine, reception friendly and helpful - all in all would reccomend and would stay here again. Only negative was breakfast ( which was good for choice with some continental and some english options) was cold and as we were the first in one morning due to an early departure it should have been hot
