Spent two weeks at the Nerja Club, one very noisy first night in room 219 ( which was above the bar ) but reception were only too happy to move us, and we spent the rest of the holiday in a much larger, much quieter room with fantastic views towards the sea, in addition to it being South facing. The only downside for us, being vegetarian, was a lack of choice on some evenings. Last year at the Villa Flamenca, the choice was greater and more varied, but you can't have everything.....The refurbished rooms were excellently decorated, and the bathroom was second to none with continual hot water, and a shower to die for!!! The communal areas were always spotless, as was the pool and spa. Having been to Nerja many times, we knew how far from town we were, and where to go...'Anahi' by the Balcon de Europa serves the best tea and coffee in town, with smily staff, reflected in the fact that they were always busy.
